Los Ranchos - Cuarto Grado
In conjunction with their studies of ranchos in their homeroom class, fourth graders have been working on ranchos in Spanish too. Each student created a Spanish name for themselves as a ranchero/ranchera. They also created a Spanish name for their rancho. Last week we learned about diseños (maps of ranchos) and learned some Spanish vocabulary such as colina (hill), montaña (mountain), rio (river), lago (lake), camino (path), árbol (tree), and puente (bridge). Next week, students will be drawing a diseño of their rancho. Stay tuned for more photos!
