Cascarones - Octavo Grado
Eighth graders studied the history of a cascarón. A cascarón is a confetti filled egg which is used in Mexico to celebrate special occasions and is said to bring good luck to the person who has the egg cracked on their head. It took a few days to make the cascarones. The students were eager to crack them as well as wish their classmates good luck next year!
